There were some puzzled faces as the children tried to solve our class problem. A square represents 10, a triangle represents 20 and a circle represents 30. Can you place the shapes so that each row and column on our grid makes 60?

Charlie and Eddie had a tricky problem to solve in maths today. If a spider climbs up a 30 metre building and each day he climbs 5 metres but slides back down 1 metre, how long will it take the spider to reach the top?

They worked brilliantly together and solved the problem.

Today with Mrs Hardy the children used charcoal to draw their picture of a boat. They are so fantastic we are struggling to decide which is the photograph and which is the drawing.

This morning in Year 2 the children started to write the opening of their story based on our class clip. They are all fantastic but we were especially impressed with Daisy and Ray who used fantastic vocabulary choices to really set the scene. Here they are looking very pleased with themselves.
